Head of Business Operations

About the role

Business Operations at OpenFX builds the operating backbone that turns strategy into measurable plans across trade, finance, revenue and regulatory functions. The Head leads the Business Operations team, establishes cadence, KPI reviews and real‑time reporting, and translates high‑level strategy into actionable execution across multiple geographies. This senior leader works from Miami, London, Dubai or Bengaluru in a hybrid/on‑site model, collaborating with functional heads to scale the fintech platform globally.

What you’ll do

• Lead and grow the Business Operations function
• Establish company‑wide operating cadence and KPI reviews
• Translate strategy into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
• Identify and remove bottlenecks, build process automation
• Oversee trade, revenue and finance operations performance
• Implement risk and control frameworks for regulated payments
• Manage client onboarding, KYB and compliance workflows
• Support and potentially own banking and liquidity partner relationships

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years operations experience in large‑scale fintech or financial institutions
• Proven track record building and leading a Business Operations function
• Deep fluency in payments operations, finance and regulatory domains
• Experience managing multi‑jurisdictional complexity (US, UK, UAE, EU, India)
• Strong data and financial analysis skills
• Excellent written communication
• Ability to translate ambiguous strategy into operating systems
• Leadership of cross‑functional teams
