About the role
Bristlecone India Limited is hiring a Specialist - SAP-Project Management for its SAP PM Competency - Delivery department in Pune, Maharashtra, India. The role leads and manages complex SAP implementation projects end-to-end, guiding clients through SAP transformations while ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction. The position requires on-site work in Pune with willingness to travel as needed for project engagements.
What you’ll do
- Lead and manage SAP implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, timelines, and resource allocation
- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring effective collaboration
- Conduct regular project reviews and progress assessments, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and requirements
- Provide effective project leadership, motivating and guiding the project team towards common goals
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, providing transparent updates
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP project management with a proven track record of successful implementations
- Proficiency in SAP project management tools and methodologies
- Experience managing complex, large-scale SAP projects, preferably in a consulting environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide diverse teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong client relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
