Engineering team at Whatfix builds AI‑enabled digital adoption solutions. The Engineering Lead drives architecture and design of frontend and full‑stack systems, mentors engineers, and contributes code while aligning roadmaps with product managers. Based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, this role is on‑site with a hands‑on technical leadership focus.

What you’ll do

• Own and drive frontend and full‑stack architecture
• Mentor and contribute to codebase as needed
• Define and execute technical roadmap with product managers
• Champion customer‑first mindset throughout development
• Collaborate across teams for alignment on priorities and vision
• Foster high‑performing team culture of ownership and innovation

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years software engineering experience
• 2+ years leading cross‑functional teams
• Strong hands‑on React, JavaScript, TypeScript expertise
• Micro‑frontend and microservices architecture knowledge
• Experience with SaaS product development
• Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot backend

Nice to have

• Proficiency in GWT, HTML, CSS, SCSS
• Experience with React ecosystem (Hooks, Router, SSR)
• Webpack Module Federation and micro‑frontend setups
• Web browser extension development
• Cross‑browser compatibility expertise
