Senior QA Engineer

About the role

Worksoft QA team ensures flawless enterprise applications by building robust test strategies and executing comprehensive manual and low-code automated testing. The Senior QA Engineer leads end‑to‑end testing, defines test plans, validates APIs and performance, tracks defects, and mentors junior QA staff. Hyderabad, Telangana, India – hybrid work model with on‑site days as required.

What you’ll do

• Own and execute end‑to‑end manual testing across releases
• Define and maintain test plans, strategies, and execution reports
• Automate regression tests using low‑code tools
• Conduct API and performance testing
• Track, log, and validate defects throughout lifecycle
• Report QA metrics such as coverage and defect density
• Collaborate with Development, Product, and Business teams to resolve quality issues
• Participate in sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years experience
• Manual testing expertise
• No-code/low-code automation tools
• API testing with Postman/Swagger
• Performance testing
• SQL and backend validation
• Azure DevOps or Jira for bug tracking
• Mentoring junior QA engineers
