Maintenance Shift Incharge, Assembly Shop

About the role

Production Department at Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. oversees maintenance for the assembly shop, ensuring equipment reliability and minimal downtime. The Maintenance Shift Incharge supervises shift activities, coordinates preventive and predictive maintenance, and leads a team in troubleshooting and safety compliance. Kharkhoda, on-site, full-time role with shift handover responsibilities and participation in Kaizens and digitalization initiatives.

What you’ll do

• Supervise all maintenance activities during the assigned shift
• Execute planned preventive maintenance for assembly shop equipment
• Monitor equipment health using predictive maintenance techniques
• Allocate and monitor daily tasks for maintenance personnel
• Train and mentor team members on troubleshooting and safety
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper shift handover documentation
• Maintain critical spares and coordinate with stores for replenishment
• Participate in Kaizens, root cause analysis, and digitalization initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 6-10 years maintenance experience
• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics
• Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs and Servo drives
• Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools
• Knowledge of robots such as FANUC and Yaskawa
• Understanding of 5S and Lean Maintenance
• Good communication and shift coordination
