About the role

Operations Finance team at Amgen focuses on financial planning, analysis, and reporting for operational activities. The Senior Associate drives budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and month‑end close while partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to provide actionable financial insights. What you’ll do

• Support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports with variance and trend analysis
• Partner with Operations stakeholders to identify cost drivers, risks and opportunities
• Manage expense management, cost center analysis, headcount tracking and capital planning
• Analyze actual results versus budget and forecast, delivering actionable insights
• Assist in creating management presentations and business review materials
• Execute month‑end and quarter‑end close activities including accruals and reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
