About the role

Flowserve India Controls' Mechanical Engineering team designs and upgrades pump systems and aftermarket units. The Mechanical Engineer, Associate creates detailed 3D SolidWorks models, ensures compliance with GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) and ASME/API standards, and produces clear drawings and documentation for parts and assemblies. Bengaluru, India, on-site role focusing on pump upgrades and rotating equipment design.

What you’ll do

  • Perform varied and complex design tasks with minimal supervision
  • Gather and review assignment information, define scope, and meet customer expectations
  • Update status to stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Follow engineering standards and procedures for consistent results
  • Check designs for compliance, safety, manufacturability, and assembly ease
  • Deliver complete drawings, analysis reports, documentation, and part lists on time
  • Maintain technical and interpersonal skills in line with company policies

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years design experience with pumps or rotating equipment
  • Proficient reading and interpreting engineering drawings and documents
  • Knowledge of GD&T and ANSI Y14.5 standards
  • Skilled in SolidWorks 3D design for pump upgrades
  • Familiar with pump assembly, repair, and servicing
  • Understanding of ASME, API, and DIN design standards
