Material Planner I

About the role

Material Planner I on the Manufacturing (REMS) team at TechnipFMC, responsible for ensuring material availability for production. The role executes MRP in S4 HANA, manages master data, and drives inventory optimization while collaborating with procurement and engineering. Hyderabad office, on-site work model, with opportunities to influence supply strategy and support global energy projects.

What you’ll do

• Create and maintain material master data in S4 HANA
• Execute MRP runs to identify demand and supply gaps
• Develop and implement consumption‑based planning strategies
• Manage inventory levels to maximize turns and reduce logistics costs
• Coordinate with buyers and procurement to mitigate plan deviations
• Support engineering change management and update BOMs accordingly
• Provide progress reports and risk updates to schedulers and planners
• Train and guide colleagues on material management processes

What you’ll bring

• Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration degree preferred
• 1-3 years material planning experience
• Proficient in S4 HANA
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Data analysis skills
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing
• Experience with engineering BOMs
• APICS CPIM certification preferred
