Senior Technician, Field Service

About the role

Field Service Team at Wesco International ensures reliable installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems for customers. The Senior Technician performs advanced field work, supports AV system installations, adheres to safety standards, documents service reports, and mentors junior technicians. Hyderabad, on-site, with extensive travel (75%-100%).

What you’ll do

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues in field conditions
• Support installation and basic commissioning of AV systems
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Provide on‑site customer support and maintain service logs
• Assist in system testing, tuning, and verification
• Mentor junior technicians and share technical guidance
• Travel extensively to customer sites

What you’ll bring

• High School Degree or equivalent required
• CDL Class A license
• 3-5 years electrical/mechanical/hydraulic experience
• 1 year Class A vehicle driving
• Forklift certification
• OSHA 10 certification preferred
• First Aid, AED, CPR certification preferred
• Basic AV signal flow knowledge
