Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

EY seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and automate scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure for enterprise workloads. The role involves implementing Infrastructure as Code, managing Kubernetes platforms, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability and security. This position is available in multiple Indian cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Chennai, with an on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Design, provision, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for secure and auditable deployments.
• Build and support Kubernetes-based container platforms, including scaling and troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment workflows.
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting to improve efficiency.
• Integrate cloud infrastructure with enterprise networking, IAM, security, and monitoring.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure infrastructure is resilient, secure, compliant, and cost-aware.

What you’ll bring

• 5–8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, CloudOps, DevOps, or platform engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services; working knowledge of Azure services.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized workload operations.
• Strong experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages such as Bash or Shell.
• Good understanding of cloud networking, IAM, security groups, VPC/VNet, and monitoring.
• B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
