Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – NBS Sales

About the role

KONE seeks a Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager for NBS Sales in Ranchi to drive direct sales of elevators and escalators. The role involves managing customer relationships, generating leads, and ensuring end-to-end sales execution to meet budget targets. This full-time position requires 5-8 years of experience and is based on-site in Ranchi.

What you’ll do

• Proactively develops customer relationships with architects, developers, and consultants
• Drives solution selling methodology to ensure KONE solutions meet customer needs
• Generates leads, opportunities, orders, and contracts to meet sales budgets
• Designs solutions to meet customer needs and sets optimal market pricing
• Ensures customer satisfaction and resolves complaints with the team
• Documents customer data and maintains accurate information in CRM systems
• Supports finance function in money collection and ensures correct project categorization
• Gathers relevant information about market and competitors from the field

What you’ll bring

• Engineering or M.B.A. background
• Minimum 5 to 8 years Direct Sales experience
• Experience preferably from Elevator industry
• Good understanding of market trends in sales & marketing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent presentation skills
