Senior Manager - Cloud Engineering

About the role

HighRadius is seeking a Senior Manager - Cloud Engineering to oversee regional infrastructure operations within M&A Engineering. You will drive efficiency through cost optimization, lead and cross-train a diverse team of engineers across multiple product lines, and standardize tools to ensure a resilient, scalable cloud environment. The role bridges technical operations and financial stewardship on an AI-driven fintech platform, with a focus on proactive reliability and GenAI operations. Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

What you’ll do

• Manage and cross-train a diverse team of engineers supporting multiple, distinct product lines and technology stacks
• Drive the gradual movement toward standardized tooling and best practices across varied cloud environments
• Analyze infrastructure spending across all assets to identify redundancies and lead initiatives to consolidate cloud accounts, deprecate overlapping tools, and optimize overall infrastructure costs to
• Serve as a deep technical expert in cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and oversee container orchestration and observability stacks to move from reactive troubleshooting to proactive reliability
• Act as the ultimate escalation point for major incidents and foster a blameless post-mortem culture that focuses on architectural remediation rather than short-term fixes
• Lead the strategy for scaling AI/ML workloads, optimizing GPU utilization, and leveraging AIOps to automate proactive system monitoring and incident response
• Recruit, mentor, and scale a world-class cloud engineering organization and build a high-performance culture rooted in innovation, transparency, and pragmatic problem-solving

What you’ll bring

• 12+ years in IT infrastructure with at least 4+ years in a management role overseeing cloud engineering teams
• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Deep mastery of AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Proven track record of leading complex migrations from legacy on-prem (VMware/Hyper-V) to cloud-native architectures
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and the CNCF landscape
• Experience steering teams toward robust Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD best practices
• Strategic experience implementing enterprise-grade observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
• Strong background in DevSecOps, SOC2/ISO 27001 compliance, and building disaster recovery protocols for high-availability fintech environments
