About the role

SYSTRA India is seeking a Chief Expert-System Security & Cyber Security professional for the Mumbai–Ahmedabad High Speed Rail Project, providing Project Management Consultancy Services for Signalling & Telecommunication, SCADA, and Ticketing Systems. The role reports to the PD and Dy. PD and involves reviewing contractor designs, evaluating security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption, verifying configuration and security tools, and conducting penetration testing and ethical hacking to assess vulnerabilities. Additional duties may be assigned by the PD and Client (NHSRCL). Location: Ahmedabad, GJ, IN. Employment type: Contract (Roll on/Roll off).

What you’ll do

Review the design submitted by the contractor
Review of security measures like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption to protect networks and systems
Review of Configuration and security tools and technologies to ensure they achieve properly set up and functioning
Conducting penetration testing and ethical hacking to assess security vulnerabilities
Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL)

What you’ll bring

Engineering Graduate (B.E/B.Tech in Electronics/Computer/IT stream or equivalent)
Overall 20 years of experience
10 years of experience in implementation of System Security including cyber Security in Rail-based Transit System project(s)
Rail-based Transit System project(s) shall mean High-Speed Railways / Semi High-Speed Railways / Metro Railways projects as defined
High-Speed Railways projects (ETCS based) with operational speed equal or greater than 250 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluation
Semi High-Speed Railways including Urban/Suburban/ Intercity/ Regional Passenger Transit Systems, projects with operational speed equal to or greater than 160 Kmph shall only be considered for evaluat
Metro Railways excluding LRT/Tram/Monorail Systems, projects shall only be considered for evaluation
