AEM EDS Developer

About the role

WPP Enterprise Solutions seeks an AEM EDS Developer to build and migrate growth systems for global clients. The role focuses on developing blocks using vanilla HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while optimizing performance via Core Web Vitals. This position is based in Noida, India.

What you’ll do

• Develop AEM Edge Delivery Services blocks and manage project boilerplates
• Implement content pipelines and ensure high-performance front-end code
• Optimize web performance using Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse metrics
• Collaborate on EDS migrations and AI-based implementations
• Ensure responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible designs

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development or AEM Edge Delivery Services
• Strong proficiency in vanilla HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grid), and JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with AEM EDS block development and content pipelines
• Understanding of Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse scoring, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with responsive design, mobile-first development, and cross-browser testing

Nice to have

• Experience leveraging AI-based EDS implementations
• Exposure to EDS migration projects
• Knowledge of semantic HTML and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Familiarity with Git, build tools, and CI/CD workflows
