About the role
Traffic Surveillance Systems team at Collins Aerospace, RTX develops advanced avionics surveillance products such as ADS‑B, TCAS, and transponders. The Senior Lead Engineer designs and maintains embedded software, creates automation tools, executes testing, supports DAL‑B certification, and builds CI/CD pipelines while collaborating with systems, hardware, and verification groups. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India – hybrid work model with on‑site presence as required.
What you’ll do
- Design and develop embedded software for traffic surveillance products
- Create engineering tools and automation frameworks
- Execute unit, integration, and system testing
- Support DAL‑B certification and compliance activities
- Participate in design and code reviews
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot build and deployment issues
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 4-9 years embedded software development
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Experience with VxWorks or Wind River OS
- Full SDLC experience
- Board‑level debugging
- Git and Visual Studio usage
- Agile development
