About the role
Product & Engineering team at HERE Technologies builds cutting-edge mapping and location platforms. The Senior Software Engineer, UI/UX designs intuitive, accessible enterprise web interfaces, creates design systems, and collaborates with product owners and engineers to deliver AI‑enhanced user experiences. Mumbai, hybrid model with onsite collaboration, relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Design user flows, wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Develop and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, QA, and stakeholders in Agile ceremonies
- Document design specifications in JIRA and ensure accurate implementation
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years UI/UX design experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or UI/UX
Nice to have
- Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch
- Experience with AI‑assisted design tools (e.g., Figma AI, ChatGPT)
- Strong knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards
- Hands‑on experience building responsive, component‑based web interfaces
