About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO HANA Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions across multiple Indian cities. The role requires deep expertise in SAP FICO modules, hands‑on S/4HANA Finance, and integration with other SAP and external systems. The architect will translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, enforce architecture standards, and guide cross‑functional teams through the full implementation lifecycle. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills are essential. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or a related field, have 15+ years of SAP experience with at least 4 years as a Solution Architect, and possess relevant SAP certifications. The position offers a hybrid work model, travel within India or internationally, and opportunities to work on cutting‑edge SAP S/4HANA projects for Fortune 500 clients.

What you’ll do

  • Lead design and architecture of SAP FICO solutions on SAP S/4HANA.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with business owners, PMs, consultants, developers.
  • Define and enforce architecture standards and best practices.
  • Drive integration of FICO with other SAP modules and external systems.
  • Lead solution workshops and provide strategic insights.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end implementation: requirements, design, config, test, train, go‑live.
  • Mentor junior consultants and guide solution design.
  • Provide thought leadership in SAP Finance innovation areas.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related discipline.
  • SAP Certification in FICO and/or S/4HANA Finance (preferred).
  • 15+ years total SAP experience, 4+ as Solution Architect in SAP FICO S/4HANA.
  • Experience with diverse industries and geographies.

Nice to have

  • Experience in SAP Central Finance and group reporting.
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology, Fit-to-Standard, and extensions.
  • Proven integration experience with IDOCs, BAPIs, APIs.
  • Familiarity with SAP Fiori for FICO processes.

Skills

Expert SAP FICO modules: GL, AP, AR, AA, CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders, COPA).Hands‑on SAP S/4HANA Finance: Universal Journal, New Asset Accounting.Deep understanding of financial processes, reporting, statutory requirements.Integration skills with other SAP modules and external systems.Strong problem‑solving, analytical, communication, stakeholder management.Leadership and mentoring of junior consultants.
