Trainee Engineer

About the role

Silicon Engineering team at Infineon Technologies designs and verifies advanced graphics and security IP. As a Trainee Engineer you will develop and maintain simulation testbenches, write UVM verification components, and assist with emulation platforms under senior guidance. Bangalore, India, On-site, hybrid schedule with mentorship and training provided.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain block-level and chip-level simulation testbenches
• Write scalable UVM verification components such as drivers, monitors, and scoreboards
• Collaborate on emulation testbench bring-up for pre-silicon validation
• Create verification plans for Graphics IP and run regressions
• Debug hardware failures and develop functional coverage to achieve verification closure

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• Strong knowledge of SystemVerilog
• Exposure to UVM methodology
• Understanding of digital logic design and computer architecture
• Basic scripting in Python, Perl or Bash
