About the role

Global Solutions Engineering team at Tata Communications designs and delivers complex network, SDWAN, cloud, security, and collaboration solutions for enterprise clients. The Senior Manager leads solution architecture, creates high‑level and low‑level designs, and collaborates with sales, product, and engineering teams to translate customer requirements into integrated offerings. Mumbai, India, on-site role with potential to lead a small team.

What you’ll do

• Own design and development of solution architecture for network, SDWAN, cloud, security, and collaboration solutions
• Create and review high‑level and low‑level design artifacts
• Provide technical expertise to sales, product, and engineering teams during pre‑sales and delivery
• Guide engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices
• Identify and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions throughout solution lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solution compatibility and stability
• Support product team with feature inputs based on customer requirements
• Lead or contribute to a small team delivering integrated solutions

What you’ll bring

• Bachelors degree in engineering
• 7-12 years relevant experience
• Experience with solution architecture and design
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture
• Ability to create HLD and LLD
• Experience in networking, SDWAN, cloud, security
• Familiarity with VMware and IT infrastructure
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
