About the role
Accenture Data Platform team designs and delivers enterprise‑scale lakehouse solutions to enable data‑driven insights for clients. The architect leads blueprint creation, integration with Unity Catalog, and builds scalable pipelines using Databricks, Delta Lake, and cloud services while guiding governance and cross‑functional delivery. Role is based across multiple Indian locations with on‑site work at the assigned office.
What you’ll do
- Architect data platform blueprint and implement designs
- Collaborate with integration and data architects for cohesive solutions
- Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines using Delta Live Tables and Asset Bundles
- Implement Unity Catalog governance, access policies, and data classification
- Enable cross‑platform data access and federation
- Guide adoption of advanced Databricks features like Mosaic AI and Model Serving
- Lead governance and compliance for PII/PHI data
- Mentor teams and drive best practices in data engineering
What you’ll bring
- 12+ years data architecture/engineering experience
- Expertise in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
- Proficient in Python and PySpark
- Hands‑on with Delta Lake, DLT, Unity Catalog
- Experience on AWS, Azure or GCP
- Strong data modeling and warehousing knowledge
- Familiarity with data mesh and lakehouse patterns
- Leadership of cross‑functional data initiatives
