About the role

Platform Engineering at Iris Software defines the vision and roadmap for the core technology platform that underpins all customer‑facing and internal products. The Product Owner drives platform strategy, manages the backlog, leads Agile ceremonies, and collaborates with architects to ensure scalability, security and developer velocity. What you’ll do

  • Define and communicate platform vision and roadmap
  • Prioritize and groom platform backlog with clear user stories
  • Lead Agile ceremonies for Platform Engineering team
  • Collaborate with architects and engineering leads on technical debt and architecture
  • Act as liaison between Platform team and product engineering teams
  • Create and maintain API and integration documentation
  • Conduct internal demos and training to drive platform adoption

What you’ll bring

  • 5+ years software development or engineering management
  • 3+ years product ownership for platform or shared services
  • Experience with cloud‑native technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, GitOps, IaC)
  • Understanding of microservices, APIs, Kubernetes/Docker
