About the role

Implementation Engineering team at Innovaccer builds scalable healthcare data platforms that enable providers and payers to turn fragmented data into actionable insights. The Associate Director leads a 40+ member multidisciplinary team to deliver end‑to‑end implementations, ensuring data quality, governance, and financial performance while supporting AI/ML analytics initiatives. Noida, India, on-site, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Define and execute data engineering strategy aligned with business goals
• Architect scalable data lakes, warehouses, and streaming systems
• Oversee cloud data infrastructure and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Lead hiring, mentorship, and performance of engineering teams
• Establish engineering standards, governance, and compliance frameworks
• Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, Product, and Engineering
• Drive cost efficiency, reliability, and security of platforms
• Support AI/ML initiatives and advanced analytics delivery

What you’ll bring

• 15-25 years experience in healthcare delivery or health IT
• Deep expertise in HL7, FHIR, C‑CDA, X12/EDI standards
• Proven leadership of large implementation teams (30‑40+ members)
• Strong financial acumen with P&L ownership
• Experience designing cloud data platforms on AWS/Azure/GCP
• Executive stakeholder management and CXO communication
• Knowledge of value‑based care, risk adjustment, quality programs
• Certifications in program management or healthcare informatics
