Senior Manager Data Analyst, Methodology & Assumption

About the role

Actuarial Policyholder Data Team within M&G India's Finance Centre of Excellence builds and validates data pipelines for actuarial modelling. The Senior Manager Data Analyst will operate, maintain and enhance these pipelines, apply data quality checks, produce dashboards and support audit queries. Mumbai, on-site, full-time role with stakeholder collaboration across India and UK teams.

What you’ll do

• Ensure data integrity via validation and quality checks
• Implement controls and remediation actions to improve data accuracy
• Maintain documentation, data dictionaries, and operational procedures
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into pipeline logic
• Support internal and external audit queries with timely responses
• Apply data analysis techniques to answer user queries
• Produce reports, dashboards, and visualisations for business decisions
• Manage workload independently within established frameworks

What you’ll bring

• 6-10 years data analytics experience
• Financial services background
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Python
• Experience with data pipelines, validation, transformation
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Knowledge of data governance and quality standards
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly
• Stakeholder engagement and collaboration
