About the role

The Associate Consultant in Cyber Security Engineering leads a team of cybersecurity professionals, overseeing daily operations of security tools, coordinating incident response, and ensuring effective deployment of SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint solutions. With a strong leadership background and deep operational expertise, the role drives security strategy, threat detection, and documentation to protect client assets.

What you’ll do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, including engineers and analysts.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Ensure that security tools are properly configured, integrated, and operating effectively.
• Manage the threat detection and response processes, including monitoring security alerts, analyzing incidents, and coordinating response activities.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of security processes, tools, and incident responses.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Advanced degree or certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH preferred.
• 7-10 years of cybersecurity or IT ops experience, 3-5 years in management.
