About the role
Supply Chain Management team at Signode ensures smooth sourcing and uninterrupted supply of contract packaging and trading items. The Manager Purchasing Supply Chain leads multi‑location purchasing professionals, develops material supply strategies for India and potentially Asia‑Pacific, and drives supplier performance and inventory optimization. Based in Bidadi, Karnataka, India, this role is on-site at the company’s facilities.
What you’ll do
- Envision and execute material supply and fulfillment strategies for India with a purchasing spend of Rs. 500+ Cr
- Lead a team of multi‑location material purchasing professionals
- Provide supply market intelligence across India, Asia‑Pacific and global levels
- Drive supplier performance, relationship management, and smart supply chain processes
- Collaborate with strategic sourcing, operations, commercial and finance functions
- Achieve financial goals such as inventory control and working capital improvement
- Implement and own new P2P automation processes
What you’ll bring
- MBA or equivalent preferred
- Minimum 60% academic record
- 7-12 years experience in large manufacturing organization
- Sourcing experience in materials/purchasing management
