About the role

The Analyst, RFP Operations role sits within Global Client Solutions at Ares, supporting the coordination and completion of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and ad-hoc investor requests from intake through final delivery. Day-to-day work includes refreshing strategy/fund-level DDQs, customizing proposal language, reviewing qualitative and quantitative content for accuracy, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to improve drafting efficiency and workflow transparency. The position is based in Mumbai, India.

What you’ll do

  • Supports the coordination and completion of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and ad-hoc investor requests from intake through final delivery, balancing timelines, stakeholders, and competing priorities.
  • Assists in refreshing strategy/fund level Generic DDQs quarterly or as needed.
  • Partners with relationship management, product strategy, investment teams, and subject matter experts to create clear, differentiated, and responsive investor materials.
  • Supports the customization of proposal language to address investor priorities and diligence themes while maintaining consistency with approved messaging.
  • Develops strong knowledge of Ares' strategies, products, performance data, platform capabilities, and corporate infrastructure to support accurate content creation.
  • Reviews and checks qualitative and quantitative content for accuracy, including responses in questionnaires and data found in industry databases, with guidance from more senior team members.
  • Maintains and governs proposal content across RFP technology platforms, including AI enablement, content reuse, and alignment with firm standards.
  • Leverages AI-enabled tools, data, and process improvements to enhance drafting efficiency, response quality, workflow transparency, and the stakeholder experience.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or international equivalent, preferably in a related field (economics, finance, accounting, or marketing).
  • 2-4 years of experience in the financial services or asset management industry, ideally in RFP, investor relations, client service, product strategy, due diligence, or a related fundraising support fu
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex investment, platform, and operational information into clear, accurate, and persuasive responses.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to organize workstreams, manage timelines, coordinate stakeholders, and drive multiple concurrent deliverables to completion.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality, particularly when reviewing written materials, quantitative data, performance information, and client-facing content.
  • Ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment while remaining calm, organized, and solutions-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Working knowledge of the asset management industry and familiarity with private markets or alternative investment products preferred.

Nice to have

  • Any other industry recognized professional certification like CFA, APMP is a plus.
  • Experience using, implementing, or optimizing RFP, proposal automation, knowledge management, or AI-enabled workflow tools is preferred.
  • Prior experience managing complex written deliverables from intake through final delivery, including drafting, editing, stakeholder coordination, quality control, and deadline management is preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce, PowerBI, or AI-enabled workflow, content management, and reporting tools a plus.
