About the role

Commodity Energy team within Non-Production Materials Procurement drives sustainable energy sourcing for ZF. The Commodity Buyer develops regional energy strategies, leads renewable projects, manages end‑to‑end source‑to‑pay, and negotiates contracts to meet decarbonization targets. Hyderabad, Pune or Chennai – on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

Develop and execute regional energy sourcing strategy
Lead renewable energy projects and PPAs
Manage source‑to‑pay process for energy demands
Monitor market trends and provide intelligence
Negotiate commercial terms and identify savings
Develop and benchmark supplier base
Support budget planning and forecasting
Ensure compliance with procurement guidelines

What you’ll bring

3-5 years purchasing experience
Energy procurement or sustainability experience
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
Analytical mindset with strong execution
Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration
