Assistant Vice President - Regional Head of Treasury Operations

About the role

Treasury Operations at Oaktree, a global alternative investment manager, oversees fund treasury functions including payments, bank account management, and online banking administration. The Assistant Vice President leads a team to process payments, manage accounts, and implement automation initiatives while coordinating with internal stakeholders and banking partners. Hyderabad, on-site, hybrid schedule with occasional remote days.

What you’ll do

• Lead daily treasury operations including payments processing and bank account management
• Support and manage Treasury Management System modules and automation projects
• Evaluate and improve operational controls and procedures for efficiency
• Oversee bank relationship management and act as liaison with financial institutions
• Facilitate FBAR reviews and support annual filing documentation
• Manage transformation projects with technology-enabled initiatives and ROI presentation
• Review KPIs across functions to aid business decisions
• Train users on system features and enhancements

What you’ll bring

• 7+ years treasury or cash management operations experience
• 5+ years management experience leading teams
• Knowledge of banking relationships, custody, DDA, and prime brokerage
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems and bank connectivity
• Familiarity with PowerBI and bank fee analysis
