About the role

UI Platform team at Rippling builds shared systems, design patterns, and performance guardrails that enable product teams to ship high-quality experiences quickly. The Senior Software Engineer will develop and evolve the Application Framework/SDUI platform, create reusable frontend primitives, and build backend components to support configuration‑driven UI, collaborating with 40+ product teams. Based in Bangalore, India, on‑site role.

What you’ll do

• Build and evolve the Application Framework/SDUI platform
• Partner with 40+ product teams to adopt and integrate UI Platform capabilities
• Design and implement reusable frontend primitives, patterns, and workflows
• Contribute to frontend architecture, performance, and developer tooling
• Develop backend components for configuration‑driven UI and platform APIs
• Improve developer experience for product engineers using the platform
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, testing, and production support
• Leverage AI tools to enhance development velocity and code quality

What you’ll bring

• 6-9 years software engineering experience
• Strong frontend development with React and TypeScript
• Experience building reusable UI systems and design systems
• Fullstack exposure to APIs and backend services
• Ability to own projects end‑to‑end and drive technical clarity
• Collaboration with cross‑functional product and design teams
• Product and design sensibility for platform consistency
• Practical exposure to AI‑assisted development tools
