Financial Consulting Senior Associate - Fund Services+

About the role

RSM’s Fund Services+ team within Financial Consulting provides managed fund administration and accounting services to Private Equity Groups. The Senior Associate handles day-to-day operations including financial reporting, capital calls, and investor data management using specialized technology platforms. This full-time role is based in Gurugram.

What you’ll do

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, footnotes, workpaper packages, and investor reporting packages
• Facilitate day-to-day operating activities including cash management, fee calculations, and expense payments
• Execute capital calls and distribution calculations on the firm's technology platform
• Assist with onboarding new clients and setting up investors and reports
• Maintain and update investor data as needed
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax providers for year-end audits and tax returns
• Respond to adhoc inquiries from clients and limited partners
• Train other new or junior level staff members once established

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of Big 4 or national accounting firms fund accounting experience in the private equity industry
• Undergraduate degree in accounting
• Ability to interpret financial and operational terms of Limited Partnership Agreements for private equity funds
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficient knowledge of fund accounting software (Investran, E-Front, etc.)
