About the role
WSP is a global professional services consulting firm seeking a Senior Architect to join its India engineering consultancy design team. The role supports technical design of construction projects across sectors, developing project design, producing presentation drawings and sketches, and assisting in solving design complexities. The Senior Architect leads specific project aspects and reports to the Project Lead, working from Noida or Bengaluru under a hybrid work model.
What you’ll do
- Develop, modify, and review drawings ensuring incorporation of design intent under direction of Project Lead
- Develop and implement project design concepts, project modelling, sketches, research, data collection, presentations, and reports
- Prepare 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings, and renderings
- Prepare, manage, and modify architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details following standards
- Develop solutions to technical and design problems following established design standards
- Interact with clients and consultants, participate in project development, and present ideas clearly
- Incorporate Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects
- Perform product research and assist with materials selection and system research
What you’ll bring
- B.Arch. education
- Strong technical design knowledge/skills in UK and Singapore construction methodology
- Experience working as part of an architectural design team
- Excellent conceptual, verbal, and written communication skills
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Underground Metro Project delivery
- Minimum 4 years as Technical Lead for project or major packages within transport projects
- Excellent working knowledge of UK building regulations and international standards
