About the role
Cognizant's Technology & Engineering team in Bangalore is hiring an AI Governance professional to translate evolving AI regulations, standards, and guidance into practical governance requirements, policies, tools, training, and lifecycle controls embedded across Cognizant's AI activities. Day-to-day, you will bridge legal requirements with technical and organizational standards to keep AI compliant and well-governed at scale. The role is based in Bangalore and follows a 5-day in-office schedule.

- Translate evolving AI regulations, standards, and guidance into practical governance requirements, policies, tools, and training
- Embed lifecycle controls across Cognizant's AI activities
- Bridge legal requirements with technical and organizational standards
- Help keep AI compliant and well-governed at scale
- Deliver high-quality work focused on governing AI responsibly
What you’ll bring
- 8 to 16 years of relevant experience
- Strong expertise in Risk Management
- Strong expertise in Corporate Governance

- Knowledge of Statutory Compliance
