About the role

Wood Mackenzie India’s Power Market team builds asset-level revenue forecasts for renewable, conventional and storage assets worldwide. The Senior Research Analyst leads research on global power markets, mentors analysts, and integrates findings into financial models. Gurugram, IN, Hybrid work model with on-site collaboration.

What you’ll do

• Lead global power market research
• Mentor and manage research analysts
• Develop revenue forecasting models
• Integrate research insights with engineering & product teams
• Present findings to senior leadership

What you’ll bring

• 5 years asset valuation & revenue forecasting
• Strong knowledge of power market revenue mechanisms
• Experience with renewable, storage & conventional assets
• Proficiency in Python & SQL
• Leadership of research teams

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Economics, Energy Studies, Engineering or related field
• 5+ years in energy asset valuation
• Deep understanding of electricity market structures
• Excellent analytical & communication skills
