About the role

Shift is a business specialist firm helping Australian SMEs manage cashflow, trade terms, and financial products. The Trainee Analyst in the Bangalore (JP Nagar) team supports end-to-end loan settlement processes, including disbursal and collection of loan documentation, document verification, reconciliations, and adherence to AML/CTF and internal compliance frameworks. The role operates on Australian shift timings (3:00–4:00 AM start, Mon–Fri) and is remote.

What you’ll do

  • Manage the disbursal and collection of loan documentation with precision
  • Review and verify documents in line with banking and compliance standards
  • Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate settlement records
  • Ensure timely updates across trackers and internal systems
  • Adhere to AML, CTF, and internal risk and compliance frameworks
  • Deliver within defined SLAs and reporting timelines
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries effectively

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • Strong attention to detail with a high standard of accuracy
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and data handling
  • Clear communication skills with fluent English
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within structured processes
  • Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow
  • Availability to work Australian shift timings (3:00–4:00 AM start, Mon–Fri)
