About the role
Ericsson is hiring a Java Architect (Core Java) to design and develop microservices and distributed applications across Noida, Bangalore, and Gurgaon. Day-to-day work includes technical design, solutioning, code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems. The role emphasizes data security, privacy, and adherence to E+OHS standards within an Agile/Scrum environment.
What you’ll do
- Analyze, develop, and execute test cases to ensure adequate configuration and seamless integration of network systems
- Drive technical requirements independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Perform technical design, solutioning, code reviews, and mentor junior developers
- Ensure meticulous adherence to group directives, legal, and financial requirements
- Work within Ericsson's global and local Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (E+OHS) standards
- Ensure utmost data security and privacy
What you’ll bring
- Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8-21), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful APIs
- Extensive hands-on experience designing and developing Microservices and distributed applications
- Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, SQL, and NoSQL databases, including database design and performance optimization
- Experience in event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as Kafka
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, scalability, high availability, and performance
- Proficient with Git, branching strategies, code reviews, and version control workflows
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution skills
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development
- Good understanding of cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and cloud-native design principles
- Prior experience or strong domain knowledge in the Telecom industry
