About the role

Ericsson is hiring a Java Architect (Core Java) to design and develop microservices and distributed applications across Noida, Bangalore, and Gurgaon. Day-to-day work includes technical design, solutioning, code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems. The role emphasizes data security, privacy, and adherence to E+OHS standards within an Agile/Scrum environment.

What you’ll do

Analyze, develop, and execute test cases to ensure adequate configuration and seamless integration of network systems
Drive technical requirements independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Perform technical design, solutioning, code reviews, and mentor junior developers
Ensure meticulous adherence to group directives, legal, and financial requirements
Work within Ericsson's global and local Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety (E+OHS) standards
Ensure utmost data security and privacy

What you’ll bring

Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8-21), Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and RESTful APIs
Extensive hands-on experience designing and developing Microservices and distributed applications
Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate, SQL, and NoSQL databases, including database design and performance optimization
Experience in event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as Kafka
Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, scalability, high availability, and performance
Proficient with Git, branching strategies, code reviews, and version control workflows
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution skills

Nice to have

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native application development
Good understanding of cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure) and cloud-native design principles
Prior experience or strong domain knowledge in the Telecom industry
