About the role

DEIC-L&T Precision Engineering & Systems IC team focuses on advanced composite manufacturing for space and defence applications. The Senior Process Engineer leads the process engineering department, evaluates RFPs, designs tools and fixtures, and develops manufacturing and testing process sheets while coordinating with customers on planning and realisation. Coimbatore, On-site, 10+ years experience required.

What you’ll do

Lead the process engineering department for composite products
Engage with customers on process planning, manufacturing technology, and prototype realisation
Develop and approve process sheets, route cards, and testing procedures
Oversee estimation and realisation of products through to first article inspection
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful product delivery

What you’ll bring

10-15 years experience in composite process engineering
Proficiency in evaluating RFPs for built-to-print composite products
Experience with tool and fixture design for composite structures
Knowledge of composite manufacturing technologies and materials
Ability to generate manufacturing and testing process sheets and route cards
Team leadership and project management skills
