Custom Software Engineering Lead at Accenture, driving the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions for FX trading and capital markets. Leads design, development, and delivery of high‑performance C++ applications, ensuring scalability, security, and observability while collaborating with global teams. Based in Pune, on‑site role, with opportunities to influence engineering best practices and mentor junior engineers.

What you’ll do

• Own technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions
• Design, develop, and enhance digital products for FX cash trading
• Ensure code quality, scalability, performance, and compliance
• Build observability, monitor production systems, and resolve incidents
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
• Collaborate with global business users, IT teams, and stakeholders
• Support L3 production activities and release management
• Contribute to engineering best practices and hiring initiatives

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years C++ development experience
• 8+ years software development in financial services
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field
• Strong English communication skills
• Experience with Azure Cloud
• Experience with IBM MQ and Kafka
• Knowledge of DBMS such as MS SQL, Sybase, Oracle
• Hands‑on multithreading, low‑latency, real‑time systems
