About the role
Brillio’s Senior Software Development Lead drives enterprise data engineering for large-scale cloud and on-prem solutions, building robust ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and BI services on Azure and Synapse. The role leads a team of data engineers, mentors best practices, and collaborates with business stakeholders to deliver self-service dashboards and data models. Based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, the position operates in a hybrid model with on-site and remote work.
What you’ll do
- Lead data engineering team
- Design and launch efficient data pipelines
- Build enterprise data warehouses with partitioning, encryption, compression
- Monitor and automate BI solutions
- Resolve data-related issues with BI management
- Document and enforce best practices
- Drive process reviews and enhancements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years SQL Server ETL experience (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks)
- 8+ years building large-scale databases
- 3+ years Microsoft Azure data services
- Python or C# scripting
- Advanced MS SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle
- Big Data technologies (Hive, Spark, NoSQL)
- Experience with Synapse or Snowflake
- Agile/Lean development
- Technical leadership
Nice to have
- Experience defining new architectures
- ETL/ELT framework design
