About the role

Precision Medicine - Quantitative Biomarker Sciences team at Regeneron India builds quantitative biology and bioinformatics solutions to accelerate biomarker and clinical data-driven discovery. The Principal Scientist leads pipeline automation, data quality control, and develops R/Shiny, RMarkdown, and Quarto visualizations while supervising a small team and driving AI‑assisted workflow development. Hyderabad, hybrid work model, relocation available.

What you’ll do

Lead automated biomarker and clinical data pipelines
Perform and review data QC and results QC
Develop and maintain RMarkdown, Quarto, Shiny data viewers
Support cross‑study data integration and ETL validation
Create programming documentation and data quality reports
Ensure timely delivery of analytical outputs
Provide technical leadership in open‑source tools
Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders

What you’ll bring

8+ years programming in biotech/pharma
2+ years people management
Experience with biomarker or clinical trial data
Proficiency in R, R Shiny, Python, Bash
Git version control
AI‑assisted coding platforms (e.g., Claude Code)
Statistical modeling (linear, logistic, survival)
Open‑source data analysis methodologies
