Functional Architect - BY Planning

About the role

Cognizant seeks a Functional Architect for its BY Planning team in Noida, India, to design and optimize integrated supply chain planning solutions. The role involves leading functional design, stakeholder collaboration, and solution deployment within a hybrid work model. This position focuses on aligning planning capabilities with organizational goals to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of end-to-end planning solutions using BY planning modules.
• Drive requirements discovery sessions to capture detailed demand and supply needs.
• Oversee functional analysis of existing processes to identify optimization opportunities.
• Provide functional specifications for enhancements involving PL SQL based components.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration among planning, operations, finance, and technology teams.
• Guide end users through solution walkthroughs and functional demonstrations.
• Manage functional testing activities including test scenario definition and issue triage.
• Support deployment and hypercare phases by monitoring performance and tuning configurations.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with BY Sales and Operations Planning, Enterprise Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Allocation and Replenishment, and Supply Chain Planning.
• Strong practical expertise in PL SQL for analyzing queries and data flows.
• Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts including demand forecasting and inventory optimization.
• Proven capability working in hybrid work models and day shift schedules.
