About the role

Data Management team at Amgen leads enterprise database design strategy, governance, and modernization for global therapeutic area portfolios. The Associate Director drives AI-enabled validation, automation, and operational excellence while mentoring senior managers and shaping enterprise clinical data capabilities. What you’ll do

Own enterprise database design strategy across portfolios
Lead governance frameworks and reusable libraries
Drive AI-enabled validation and automation initiatives
Partner with Digital & Technology organizations
Oversee portfolio delivery, compliance, inspection readiness
Develop senior managers and functional leaders

What you’ll bring

Doctorate degree and 10 years experience or Master’s with 13 years or Bachelor’s with 15 years
Minimum 5 years people management experience leading global teams

Nice to have

15+ years clinical research or data management
Leadership with Vault CDMS, Medidata Rave
