Intermediate Application Software Quality Engineer

About the role

Seeking an Intermediate Application Software Quality Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications at UPS. Responsibilities include creating manual and automated test cases, implementing AI-driven testing techniques for predictive analytics and defect detection, integrating scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps), and collaborating with developers, product owners, and QA leads to ensure product quality. The role requires strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript, proficiency with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium, and experience with AI-based testing tools and machine learning concepts.

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks
• Implement AI-driven testing techniques
• Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines
• Apply machine learning models for test optimization
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA leads
• Conduct root cause analysis and propose preventive measures
• Recommend emerging AI/ML test automation tools
