About the role
The Amazon Travel and Events Transactions Analyst, Strategic Programs Management role sits within AT&E Strategic Programs Management (SPM), which drives T&E policy compliance, controllership excellence, intelligent payment solutions, and sustainability transformation across Amazon's travel and events ecosystem. Day-to-day, the analyst processes daily travel and events billing transactions, performs routine reconciliations, validates data accuracy in TMC feeds and internal billing systems, supports vendor query resolution, and assists with GRC controls validation and compliance testing. The position reports to the Travel and Events Transactions Manager, works under the Transactions Lead and Senior Transactions Analyst, and is based in Chennai, India with global scope.
What you’ll do
- Process daily billing transactions across travel categories (air, hotel, car, rail, meetings & events)
- Perform routine statement reconciliations and flag discrepancies for review
- Track refunds, credits, and cancelled ticket processing to completion
- Validate data accuracy in TMC feeds and internal billing systems
- Support vendor query resolution and respond to standard billing inquiries
- Assist with supplier onboarding documentation and entity setup tasks
- Maintain transaction logs and ensure timely data entry
- Support payment card transaction monitoring and exception flagging
What you’ll bring
