About the role

Cognizant is hiring a Workday Finance Consultant within the Technology & Engineering department in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. The role involves designing and implementing Workday Financial Management solutions that align with business objectives, collaborating with stakeholders, and providing architectural guidance to development teams. This hybrid position operates on a day shift with no travel required.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement Workday solutions that meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Develop comprehensive architectural plans that integrate Workday Financial Management with existing systems
• Ensure scalability and reliability of Workday solutions by conducting thorough testing and validation
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize functionality and user experience
• Conduct regular reviews of Workday configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
• Lead workshops and training sessions to educate users on new features and functionalities of Workday

What you’ll bring

• 6 to 8 years of experience in Workday and Workday Financial Management
• Strong expertise in Workday and Workday Financial Management with a proven track record of successful implementations
• Solid understanding of architectural principles and best practices in Workday solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and team members
• Proficiency in designing scalable and reliable Workday systems that align with business objectives
• Ability to conduct workshops and training sessions to educate users on Workday functionalities
• Proactive approach to staying updated with the latest Workday releases and industry trends
