About the role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to join our Bangalore team. The role focuses on core database administration, including user role management, performance tuning, backup and recovery, and data refreshes. Candidates will implement and maintain Oracle Data Guard for high availability, troubleshoot RAC clusters, and configure GoldenGate for data replication. The DBA will act as the primary point of contact for the business unit, coordinate with Sys DBA teams, and manage Oracle Support service requests. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams are essential.
What you’ll do
- Manage user roles and database performance tuning
- Perform data refreshes and backup/recovery operations
- Implement and maintain Oracle Data Guard configurations
- Troubleshoot RAC and GoldenGate issues
- Act as primary POC for business unit and coordinate weekend activities
