About the role

Medline India, based in Pune, supports Medline Industries LP's mission to make healthcare run better by providing finance and business support. The Sr Analyst Rebate (Accountant) handles month-end close duties including journal entries, financial reports, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure correct US GAAP accounting. The role also supports year-end audits, monthly flux analysis, and process standardization. This is a hybrid full-time position with hours from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM (daylight saving).

What you’ll do

Process month-end duties including preparation and completion of Journal Entries and Financial Reports
Support Year-end Audit by creating and updating schedules to support financial results
Perform Account Reconciliations that substantiate Balance Sheet values
Manage end-to-end closure of books for US Entity and support audit completion
Conduct monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation and timely closure of reconciling items
Perform Journal Entry Assessment/Automation/Migration and US GAAP Accruals
Conduct monthly flux analysis
Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of input and reports

What you’ll bring

CA / CPA with 1-2 years experience, or CA Inter with 4-5 years experience
Hands-on experience with Fixed Assets module in SAP
Hands-on experience in Balance Sheet Analysis and Reconciliation
Month end close process experience
SAP ECC or SAP S4HANA experience
Excellent Excel skills
Working knowledge in fixed assets (R2R) process as per US GAAP
US GAAP Accruals experience
