About the role

Engineering team at Maruti Suzuki India drives the integration of generative AI into business intelligence platforms to unlock advanced analytical capabilities. The Gen-AI Engineer leads design and development of Gen-AI solutions, builds robust data models, knowledge graphs, and agentic RAG systems, and collaborates with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements. Works on-site in Gurugram and Bengaluru, partnering with data engineering and BI teams to deliver on‑demand reporting and conversational analytics.

What you’ll do

• Lead design and development of Gen‑AI solutions integrated with BI tools
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define technical requirements
• Design and implement data models, semantic layers and knowledge graphs
• Define optimized pipelines for metadata ingestion and data processing
• Develop advanced prompt engineering and agentic RAG architectures
• Monitor model performance and ensure continuous improvement
• Ensure responsible AI practices including bias mitigation and compliance
• Conduct research on emerging Gen‑AI trends for enterprise analytics

What you’ll bring

• B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech. in any branch
• Specialization in Computer Science, Data Science, ML or AI
• 3+ years Python development with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Experience developing Gen-AI models, fine‑tuning and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of knowledge graphs using Neo4j or AWS Neptune
• Hands‑on BI platform integration (Tableau, Power BI)
