About the role
Director Data Architecture at DTCC’s IT Architecture and Enterprise Services, shaping the organization’s Data Strategy and guiding enterprise-wide data standards, architectures, and semantic models. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include designing reference architectures, leading data integration patterns, and communicating technical vision to C‑suite and regulators. Hyderabad, India, hybrid model with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
What you’ll do
- Design enterprise data architectures aligned to business capabilities
- Produce architecture views and documentation
- Develop reference architectures and blueprints
- Lead data integration and mesh initiatives
- Communicate architecture strategy to executives
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with business, engineering, risk, and compliance
- Evaluate and negotiate vendor platforms
- Mentor junior architects
What you’ll bring
- 10+ years related experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Nice to have
- TOGAF/Zachman/DAMA-DMBOK experience
- Reference architecture authoring
- Architecture documentation & ADRs
- Data integration patterns (ETL/ELT, CDC, event streaming)
- Data mesh & domain‑driven design
- Cloud data warehouse expertise (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Synapse, Redshift)
- Financial data domain knowledge (GL, trade, risk, payments, KYC)
- Data governance principles
