Associate Product Owner, Digital Authoring Platform

About the role

Transformative Digital Capabilities (TDC) at Amgen builds digital and data platforms for pharma innovation. As an Associate Product Owner for the Digital Authoring Platform, you will define, refine, and drive feature delivery, collaborating with product owners, engineers, data and QA teams to ensure clear requirements and quality releases. Hyderabad, India, on-site role focusing on Agile backlog management and stakeholder coordination.

What you’ll do

• Partner with product owner and stakeholders to define well‑scoped features
• Own feature backlog refinement, acceptance criteria, and sprint readiness
• Coordinate with engineering, data, QA, and business teams to resolve blockers
• Support prioritization by surfacing trade‑offs, risks, and dependencies
• Participate in solution discussions to ensure accurate implementation
• Assist UAT planning, business validation, and release readiness activities
• Track feature progress, risks, and decisions, communicating status to stakeholders
• Document workflows, business rules, and process changes for delivered features

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience
• Associate's degree with 6 years relevant experience
• High school diploma/GED with 8 years relevant experience

Nice to have

• Experience in Agile delivery and feature ownership
• Ability to translate stakeholder needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
• Background with digital products, analytics solutions, or data-centric platforms
• Strong organizational skills for managing multiple work items
• Facilitating cross-functional collaboration and clarifying requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with backlog management and issue tracking tools
• Experience in regulated biotech or pharmaceutical environments
