About the role

Perficient is seeking a Lead Technical Consultant to join its India-based team as part of its global digital consulting practice. In this role, you will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of client applications. You will collaborate with solution architects and developers to translate wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements and technical designs. The position is full-time and based in India.

What you’ll do

Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including estimating, technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and support of applications developed for
Work with solution architects and developers on interpretation and translation of wireframes and creative designs into functional requirements and subsequently into technical design
Create innovative solutions as a skilled problem solver
Manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments with a flexible and adaptable attitude
Explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences, including high-level decision makers
Develop software using agile methodologies
Author, edit, and present technical documents
Communicate effectively via multiple channels with technical and non-technical staff

What you’ll bring

3-5 years of application development experience
Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Math, Engineering or comparable major
Solid foundation in Computer Science with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
Knowledge and experience developing software using agile methodologies
Proficient in authoring, editing, and presenting technical documents
Ability to communicate effectively via multiple channels (verbal, written, etc.) with technical and non-technical staff
Skilled problem solver with the desire and proven ability to create innovative solutions
Flexible and adaptable attitude, disciplined to manage multiple responsibilities and adjust to varied environments

Nice to have

Client-facing or consulting experience highly preferred
